Exploring sustainable practices for community development.

Onondaga FC Youth Program supports young athletes by combining education, sports training, and proper nutrition guidance to promote overall development. The program emphasizes teamwork, academic responsibility, and healthy lifestyle habits, helping participants grow both on and off the field.

2.Academic Support: Tutoring and mentoring programs help players manage their
academic responsibilities alongside their athletic commitments.
3.Leadership Development: Workshops and activities designed to build leadership skills,
promote teamwork, and foster a strong sense of community among players.

identify and nurture young talent from the Syracuse area.
Upstate United FC's 13-week Fundamental Soccer Training Class is designed to introduce
children ages 4-12 to the basics of soccer in a fun, supportive environment. Over the course
of the program, young players will develop essential soccer skills. The focus is on building
confidence, improving coordination, and fostering a love for the game.
Upstate United FC along with RISE (Refugee-Immigrant Self-Empowerment) conduct the
Youth Summer Soccer Program. This collaboration seeks to provide essential soccer training
and support to children who may otherwise lack access to such opportunities. By prioritizing
early soccer development and making the sport more inclusive, the initiative aims to create
lasting positive changes in the lives of young players and their communities.
Upstate orchestrated a transformative clean-up effort on the North Side of Syracuse this
past July. The initiative, spearheaded by Upstate United Football in collaboration with
neighborhood organizations and local businesses, saw over a hundred participants
enthusiastically roll up their sleeves.
By adopting these practices, communities can reduce their ecological footprint while enhancing the quality of life for residents.
